Overview: OpenTelemed invites qualified medical practitioners from diverse backgrounds, including all types of Nurses, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, Physicians, Nutritionists, Dietitians, CAM Practitioners, and Medical Students, to join our telehealth services as Independent Telehealth Contractors. This role offers the flexibility to work either part-time or full-time based on your availability, providing essential medical services remotely.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide a wide range of telehealth services such as Evaluation & Management (E&M), Online Digital Visits, and Non-Face-to-Face Nonphysician Telephone Services.
  • Manage Medical Nutrition Therapy, Education and Training for Patient Self-Management, and Remote Patient Monitoring.
  • Conduct assessments and management via phone, internet, or EHR, including generating verbal and written reports.
  • Handle the professional components of Radiology Services and Pathology tests.
  • Maintain responsibility for 200-500 patients per month, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to all healthcare protocols.

Support and Infrastructure:

  • Access to a fully equipped digital platform including a personalized website, email, EMR, and support team.
  • Use of personalized Android and iOS clinic apps.
  • Benefits such as shared malpractice insurance, complete compliance enrollments, digital marketing, and insurance credentialing.
  • Integration of your existing practice is supported if desired.

Requirements:

  • Valid medical licensure and credentials appropriate to your field.
  • Excellent communication and patient management skills.
  • Ability to work independently under OpenTelemed supervision.
  • Compliance with necessary certifications and enrollments, which may include FCC.GOV Certificate, HRSA HHS Certificate, D-U-N-S Certificate, SAM.GOV UEI Certificate, and more. These can be obtained independently or through OpenTelemed’s compliance team.

Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced County Community Director to join our team. As a County Community Director, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our network and enhancing the reach of our telehealth services within specific counties. This position requires a commitment of at least one hour per day and is ideal for individuals with a strong background in community building and extensive network connections among healthcare practitioners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to build and strengthen relationships with medical practitioners including Nurse Practitioners (NP), Medical Assistants (MA), Registered Nurses (RN), Doctors of Osteopathy (DO), Medical Doctors (MD), Dietitians, Midwives, Healthcare Social Workers, and Medical Students.
  • Encourage and support healthcare professionals to adopt and integrate telehealth practices using OpenTelemed’s resources.
  • Conduct outreach to identify and engage potential new members within the medical community.
  • Organize and conduct presentation calls to educate and inform practitioners about the benefits and functionalities of our telehealth platform.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of community engagement strategies to ensure goals are met and provide reports on progress.
  • Serve as a liaison between OpenTelemed and the healthcare community, ensuring clear communication and support for all parties involved.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in community building, preferably within the healthcare sector.
  • Strong networking skills with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to commit at least one hour per day to the role.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and platforms.
